PAYMENT

  • How soon should I expect my payment?
    • Within 2 business days of us receiving the book.  Generally it will be the same day, but we only want to guarantee 2 due to our industry having unusually high busy seasons in which we need a little more time for processing.

  • How do your buyback prices compare to my local bookstore?
    • Very competitively.  Some books might be slightly higher, some slightly lower, depending on our own inventory levels and demand for that particular book.

  • Who do I contact if I don't receive my payment?
  • Are damaged or instructor textbooks eligible for buyback?
    • Most of the time, yes.  If your book has water damage, torn pages, excessive highlighting or loose bindings, we won't know it until we receive it.  In that case we will have to deduct from our price quote, but it would have to be in really bad shape for us not to be able to buy it for something.  Instructor books are absolutely eligible, please just email us the title, author and edition number of the book and we will get you a very competitive quote in a timely manner.

  • How can I be sure that you don't receive my textbooks and then claim they were lost in route?
    • As an online vendor, our entire business revolves around trust.  We also have brick and mortar bookstores, but online is quite different.  Repeat business and word of mouth is also a huge portion of our business, therefore, the original customer HAS to have had a good experience the 1st time.  You can't have that unless you pay your bills.  We would not last long if we did not keep up our end of the bargain.

  • How many of the same textbooks can I send to you?

BUYBACK

  • Which textbooks are eligible for your buyback program?
    • Anything that is a current textbook (a new edition has not come out yet, on that particular book).  And even then, we sometimes can buy the books that are just one edition old due to the fact that some titles are so popular, they are still being used around the country.

  • How can I receive a quote for my textbooks?
    • Visit our 'Selling' page and just enter the ISBN on the back cover of the book. It is usually located above the barcode. If your book has 2 numbers (a 10 digit and a 13 digit), either one will work.

  • Are annotated instructors editions eligible for buyback?
    • Please call or email us for a quote on annotated editions.

  • I'm not fully satisfied with your services.  How can I invoke your guarantee?
    • We have a 3 day guarantee from the time you receive your payment, that for any reason, we can reverse the transaction.  Just email us and let us know what the problem is, and we will be happy to send the book back.  The guarantee is only 3 days because our job is to get the books into the hands of people that need them, therefore we might not be holding the book for too long, so please let us know of ANY problems as soon as possible!
